Mrs. Zim started her career in special education twenty-four years ago and fell in love with her job immediately.  At that time she began to work towards a degree in education.  Within two years she realized it was not just the educational piece she enjoyed, but also the therapeutic and motivational aspects of helping the students.  Mrs. Zim changed her direction in college and earned her associates degree in Psychology.  Mrs. Zim was one of three staff members to take part in opening, what now is known as, the Salem Prep in February of 2007. Mrs. Zim is also passionate about her family, serving others, and her work with her church.
