Shannon Thorpe

School Nurse

Shannon is the school nurse at Salem Prep.  She is a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing and Emmanuel College in Boston.  She brings 25 years of nursing experience from various specialties including critical care, cardiology and gastroenterology.  Shannon uses her experience to guide students to make better lifestyle choices while teaching them to navigate the healthcare system.   She strives to make healthcare accessible to all students by partnering with the Teen Health Center at Salem High School.  Shannon enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.  Her hobbies include going to the beach, cooking, gardening and traveling.
